The PACU RN incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our mission, vision and values into nursing practice at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Education : Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Graduate of an approved School of nursing Experience : Requires 1-2 years previous PACU RN experience or 1-2 years previous critical care unit RN Experience Certification / Licensure : Currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Basic life support, ACLS required, Trauma care after resuscitation or Trauma nursing care course required PALs preferred Software / Hardware : Meditech Other : Successful completion os Standard Med test. Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, teamwork, and teaching capabilities. Scheduled hours and days are varied and flexible, and candidate must be flexible at all times to accommodate such.
