This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the hourly rate for this position in those locations. Actual hourly rates will vary based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and geographical location related to this specific role. The total compensation will include a base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, 401(K) match, profit-sharing opportunities, and more.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Underwriting/Business partners to ensure new business/renewal quotes, issuance, and subsequent transactions are delivered as expected.
- Enters schedules into proprietary rating systems.
- Prepares account service-related documents such as proposals and other client communications and correspondence.
- Assists in renewal process, reviewing for accuracy and making requested renewal changes.
- Follows up with agencies on policy subjectivities and other missing Underwriting information.
- Maintains account files in accordance with established procedures.
- Retrieves and reviews 3rd party rating and underwriting reports as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Must have:
- 4 years of relevant insurance or business experience.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics and problem-solving techniques.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills used for interaction with all levels of associates and/or external sources in a variety of settings.
- Strong keyboarding and PC skills; Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc).
- Must be detail and action oriented in a fast- paced and deadline driven environment.
- Self-motivated, ability to organize, set and maintain priorities.
- To qualify, all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require, now or in the future, VISA sponsorship for employment purposes.
- Associate degree.
- Underwriting support experience.
- Working knowledge of ISO and Commercial Lines Manual.
