IAV is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mobile Online Services Testers for Infotainment Systems to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on testing and validating mobile online services integrated within infotainment systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Candidate must be a resident or willing to relocate in Chattanooga, TN.
Essential Responsibilities & Activities:
- Conduct comprehensive testing of mobile online services within infotainment systems, including software and connectivity components.
- Conduct test drives to evaluate the performance and reliability of mobile online services in real-world scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform regression testing to verify that resolved issues do not impact existing functionality.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on system performance, reliability, and usability.
- Commissioning of technology carriers, prototypes, databases, tool and process chains
- Flashing and performing software and configuration updates.
- Conscientious documentation of test environment and results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mobile online services with other vehicle components.
- Associates / Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum of 1 to 3 years) in testing mobile online services or similar embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Valid driver's license and ability to conduct test drives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, CAN, LIN, MOST).
- Experience with tools for network analysis (PUTTY, winSCP, WireShark)
- Familiarity with infotainment system architectures and components.
- Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools.
