What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campground Maintenance position at IB Parks and Entertainment?
Basic Function
Responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks within the campgrounds. This includes electrical work, tree trimming, plumbing, etc.
Specific Responsibilities
Maintain records for maintenance and inspections performed.
Trimming trees and other simple landscaping duties
May be required to perform electrical work, plumbing, etc
Work with other departments as needed to complete duties.
Maintain compliance with all safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
Maintain positive interaction with other employees and Guests.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Indiana Beach Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Familiarity with blowers, weed trimmer, edger, chain saw and irrigation systems a plus.
Have knowledge of outdoor power equipment, repair and maintenance
Must be able to climb ladders, work in heat and all weather conditions.
Lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to work varied shifts, days, nights, and weekends including extended hours when required and willing to work under various weather conditions.
Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift regularly.
Must be self-motivated and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
Must possess a valid drivers license, a good driving record, and successfully complete all authorized employment screenings and criminal background checks
