What are the responsibilities and job description for the IB Admissions - Guest Services position at IB Parks and Entertainment?
Basic Function
Act as an information hub for the park, being knowledgeable on ticket prices, current specials, upcoming events, and locations of amenities within the park, delivering excellent Guest Service.
Specific Responsibilities
• Upsell current offers, ensuring Guests have the opportunity to obtain the best deals and take advantage of all the park has to offer.
• Rectify transaction errors.
• Process Season Passes
• Evaluate abilities of Guests and assist them with participation of Rides and Attractions.
• Actively listen to Guest comments, with on-the-spot recovery and resolution, escalating as necessary.
• Responsible for the Lost & Found program.
• Responsible for the rental program – strollers, wagons, wheelchairs & ECV’s.
• Provide appropriate weather-related Guest recovery.
• Thank Guests for visiting, encourage them to return and create a lasting impression.
• Maintain cleanliness within an area of responsibility.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required
• Must be 14 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English and understand operations manuals.
• Must be comfortable communicating with all demographics of Guests, including those with concerns, comments and complaints.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time in all types of extreme weather.
