What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Training Manager position at IBA Fitness Management?
The Training Manager is responsible for managing the sales, customer service, and relationships with gyms served.
Schedule Expectations:
- Needs to be present at the facility he/she over sees during peak hours of operation. While these hours can vary based on the facilities managed by the TM, they basically encompass the hours of 9am-1pm and 4pm-8pm M-F and 9am-1pm on Saturday.
- Must be available for and represent the company at events for promoting, marketing, and raising brand recognition for the studio and company.
- Some Travel may be required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for achieving individual sales goals.
- Responsible for personally selling no less than $15,000 in personal invoice each pay period.
- Achieve all KPI metrics, based on the needs of the club, to ensure positive revenue growth.
- Closing sales and entering a contract with the client on behalf of the company.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with the gym staff and management (and ownership when applicable)
- Developing a positive, constructive relationship, acting as the face of the company.
- Responsible for completion of all administrative responsibilities
- Developing, hiring, and managing a personal training staff.
- Providing superior customer service to all personal training clients.
- Complete sales training.
- Practice and teach the company Culture/ Values
- May be reallocated to a different club based on the needs of the company.
- Priorities and duties may frequently change as needed by the organization

Required Experience, Education and Certifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferred Sales Experience
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a field related to health and fitness
- Current Personal Training certification and CPR/AED certification.
Physical Demands
- Position duties require daily walking, running, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting and racking weights of at least 75lbs, demonstrating exercises to clients and “spotting” clients to assure safety.

Language Skills
