TODDLER ASSISTANT TEACHER
- Must be 18 years of age
- Pass a background check/Central Registry check
- CPR/ First Aid Training
- Complete 15 hours Yearly of Professional Development Training
- Hourly Pay: Starting at $13.50/hr.

Immanuel Baptist Church GO Center Preschool is a faith-based center looking to expand our teacher Teacher team in our Toddler 2-year Class.
We are seeking applicants to fill:
Full Time OR Part-Time Positions Available:
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday 7:30am-4:00pm 2/3yr Class
*Monday-Friday (Hours Vary-up to 24 hours weekly)
Personal Qualities
- Credible profession of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ
- Godly character (pastoral and other character references required)
- Understanding of the preschool’s mission and agreement, supportive of the philosophy and pedagogy practices
- Teachable and committed to growing, learning and developing new understanding and skills
- Understanding of and ability to integrate biblical worldview in the classroom Self-educator and lifetime learner
- Willingness to initiate new ideas and concepts
- Well-spoken with excellent grammar and vocabulary
- Professional maturity and emotional stability demonstrated among students, parents, and staff
- Genuine heart for preschool aged children, ability to interact with and lead children with a strong desire to see them learn well, know God and love God.
Toddler Teacher Job Responsibilities:
- Be present and consistent each day.
- Greet each parent and child upon arrival and departure.
- Develop weekly lesson plans with Director to implement age-appropriate curriculum to nurture and stimulate all domains of children’s development in their care
- Modify weekly lesson plans and implement curriculum to address the individual needs of each child.
- Provide a developmentally appropriate environment that reflects children’s learning and growth.
- Supervise bathroom procedures and assist in toileting routine and accidents.
- Eat with children and facilitate mealtime activities.
- Play, talk, and interact with children during center time.
- Encourage and participate in daily classroom music and art activities
- Have the classroom and supplies ready at the beginning of each day.
- Conduct daily observations and notes
- Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents/caregivers through verbal/written/digital opportunities
- Maintain family and confidentiality, restricting information to those with the need to know.
- Plan periodical parent conferences to discuss children’s developmental progress, needs and interests.
- Report all reasonable suspicions of child abuse or neglect to the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline.
- Maintain licensing regulations
- Perform daily classroom/bathroom cleaning, trash, table and toy sanitation, cot and sheet preparation
- Perform other duties as assigned in the IBC Preschool Program
- Respects and upholds procedures and policies in the IBC Preschool staff and student handbooks
This is a temporary position that is available currently now in March 2025-May 2025.
