Your Opportunity
Stantec's multi-disciplinary office in Atlanta, Georgia has an opportunity for a highly motivated Civil/Transportation Engineering Intern.
This position offers work as a member of our Transportation Group in a team environment with exposure to roadway, traffic, and bridge projects which may include assisting with roadway and highway design, construction observation, grading design, stormwater modeling and analysis, traffic control design, and the use of CAD software including MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads in support of active Georgia DOT, County, and City transportation projects.
This is a paid internship position with full-time hours during the summer and an optional part-time schedule during the semester.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your Capabilities and Credentials Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Literacy in Microstation, InRoads, and/or OpenRoads is an asset but not required Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction Ability to work independently Must have a good driving record, and valid driver’s license

- Gather project data
- Prepare and assemble reports and drawings
- Perform routine calculations
- Assist with CAD drafting and design, and preparation of construction documents
- Observe and attend meetings with design team, and other project stakeholders
