Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Your Key Responsibilities
- Aiding in gathering, organizing and checking multi-discipline client stakeholder requirements.
- Participating in on-site workshops and presentations with clients and other architects and engineers.
- Writing various reports to document project requirements and deliverables.
- Aiding in functional planning of transit and industrial facilities including needs assessments, master planning, facility optimization, and workflow optimization.
- Developing process flow diagrams identifying personnel, material, vehicle and equipment flows.
- Developing functional programs identifying area space needs, space gross-up factors, and requirements.
- Developing and compiling equipment lists, schedules and datasheets.
- Modeling of industrial shop equipment, industrial workbenches and storage equipment.
- Prepare and revise documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, details.
- Utilizing BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional shop equipment layouts and diagrams.
- Coordination of operational, maintenance and equipment clearances with multi-discipline design team.
- Utilize BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strong understanding of Revit or AutoCAD and the use of it as a design tool.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe software such as InDesign and Photoshop.
- Ability to hand sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively.
- Participate and collaborate in project team setting.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Effective time management and project organization skills.
- Ability to check own work for accuracy and completeness.
- Excellent ability to write clear and comprehensive reports.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Architecture, industrial design or mechanical engineering.
- 0-5 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry.
