Currently, iBeAuthentic is in search of a collaborative and motivated associate to join our Concierge Team! The primary responsibility of the Part-Time Brand Ambassador is to build and main relationships with distributor store sales teams with the goal of promoting the represented brand products. Increases brand loyalty through superior customer service and support to help grow brand store sales, build strong brand awareness and successfully introduce new products and promotions.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for the sales support of stores and field teams, within assigned territory, as a representative of L’Oreal Professional Products Division brands at Beauty Systems Group (BSG). Creates long-term relationships with distributor management teams and sales staff through regular communication efforts.
- Maintains full comprehension of brand portfolio and brand business-building tools. Utilizes resources efficiently to support store business as it relates to merchandising, product knowledge, sales support, and needed brand resources.
- Visits assigned stores monthly to assess store merchandising, current promotions, inventory levels, and other items as directed by BDM. Documents findings, including photos of displays, notes of concerns or highlights, as well as needs and opportunities, and creates PowerPoint to review with BDM.
- Participates in weekly calls with BDM in order to gain new information, brand updates, and direction for future projects and focus, including leading and/or assisting with virtual brand presentations to store teams, and performing special call projects to include providing samples and support materials as requested. Actively communicates store concerns related to inventory and marketing materials.
- Utilizes the concierge system to maintain updated contact information, accurate call notes, and future call schedules to maintain key performance indicators (KPI) as assigned by BDM and Education/Concierge Services. Consistently averages a minimum of 20 calls per day.
- Assesses inbound inquiries and refers callers to the L’Oreal Consumer Care Center when appropriate to resolve complex issues, color formulations, etc. Acts as the main point of contact for the administrative needs of stores and Distributor Sales Consultants (DSC).
- Remains current with changes in the industry and brand by participating in manufacturer training sessions, attending sales meetings and/or trade shows, self-study, and through comprehensive communication with stores and BDM.
Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma and 2-4 years of customer-facing experience required. A cosmetology license and beauty industry knowledge are preferred but not mandatory. Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance annually.
- Ability to professionally communicate in both oral and written format, with excellent phone etiquette, and a client-focused approach. Ability to manage multiple projects, create and interpret reports, and provide innovative yet practical solutions to support sales staff.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, including calendar management, multitasking, and efficiency.
- Proficient in Google Drive/Docs/Sheets, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), social media, and digital platforms.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance in a controlled climate
