We seek a meticulous and dedicated Aerospace Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The Technician will implement quality control standards and inspections, ensuring all aerospace products meet our company’s high-quality standards and comply with industry regulations.

Your Job :
Perform quality inspections on electrical and mechanical assemblies using detailed drawings and established processes to verify conformance to requirements.
Identify, document, and resolve anomalies and corrective actions by procedures and processes
Identify and recommend changes to improve the quality processes.
Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures.
Assist in the development of inspection methods to analyze product quality.
Perform routine inspection and quality tests and analyze the results.
Generate and submit detailed reports of quality test results.
Ensure that all products meet safety and performance standards.
Comply with industry quality standards and regulations.
Investigate customer complaints and product issues.
Help maintain a clean and orderly work environment without foreign object debris (F.O.D.)
This position will be on the first shift, with core hours of 9 : 00 a.m.—5 : 30 p.m. Flexibility with these hours may be discussed if they substantially overlap with the above times.
Able to occasionally support overtime and weekend work.
Ideal candidates should have a solid aerospace technology background, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills and Experience :
High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.
2 years of inspection experience at an aerospace / defense company or related field.
Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Proof of United States citizenship is required for this position.
Physical abilities to handle and inspect aerospace components and systems and to work in environments such as manufacturing facilities and testing labs.
Additional Requirements :
Rework, Modification, and Repair of Electronic Assemblies.
Experience and interest in mechanical assembly (hobbies, auto projects, etc.)
Attention to detail and ability to maintain and follow processes and procedures
Ability to sit and operate at a workstation (soldering iron, microscopes, etc.) for long periods (e.g., up to 10-hour shifts) is required.
This position will be on the first shift, with core hours of 8 : 00 a.m.—4 : 30 p.m. Flexibility with these hours may be discussed as long as they substantially overlap.
Must be able to support overtime and weekend work occasionally
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working with quality management systems (AS9100, ISO 9000 etc.).
Familiarity with ESD and FOD controls
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to check whether the actual products match the required design and performance parameters.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing priorities and tasks as delegated
Strong communication skills to effectively report findings to engineers, managers, and other stakeholders and to document quality assurance activities.
Understanding of safety programs and OSHA regulations and requirements
Experience and familiarity with PCBA quality standards such as IPC-610, J-STD-001, etc.
Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
