Purchasing Coordinator

Your Job
The Purchasing Coordinator will execute Ibeos’ purchasing policies and procedures. In this role, you will issue purchase orders, communicate directly with suppliers, work directly with the engineers and program managers to understand material requirements and reconcile incoming material with receipts in Quickbooks. You may also be asked to assist with direct handling of incoming material to ensure compliance with purchase orders placed. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow in material management, purchasing, and finance functions.
Required Skills and Experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Degree (Bachelor or Associate). Or equivalent work experience.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
Must be able to use a PC, including fluency in Microsoft Office tools (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Additional Requirements
This position will be on the first shift, with core hours of 09:30 a.m.—4:30 p.m. Flexibility with these hours may be discussed as long as they substantially overlap.
Must be able to support overtime and weekend work occasionally.
This position is on-site at our office in Sterling, VA. While remote work may be available, the majority of the work will be on-site.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Quickbooks Online
Experience with Fishbowl Inventory Management Software
3 years of experience in material management, accounting, finance, or purchasing role

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $70,000, depending on qualifications. Ibeos offers medical, dental, and vision insurance plans and a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. Ibeos offers a variety of leave, such as holidays, vacation, sick leave, bereavement leave, and FMLA.
