Responsibilities
- Managing communications with factories/facilities.
- Prepare/maintain cost sheets per style and negotiate costs with factories and partners to sustain budgetary constraints
- Ability to use cost data to develop tactical responses and strategies
- Develop production calendar and meet all shipment and delivery deadlines
- Monitor factories daily to ensure hosiery is held to company's quality expectation standards and to meet shipping deadlines
- Track and allocate goods from all domestic and international agents necessary for production
- Take the lead on quality control to ensure all garments are finished up to designer level standards
- Elevate and communicate high risk potential order problems and issues as appropriate
Qualifications for Production Coordinator
- Prior experience working as a production coordinator in the fashion industry preferred
- Strong understanding of industry market and conditions
- Working knowledge of technical software that is specific to the industry
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
