Summary:
Under the supervision of the Landlord Assistance Program director, the Landlord Assistance Program Coordinator is responsible for supervising assigned staff, outreach, providing case management services, maintaining files, records, and reports related to the families who have been placed in one of the units/houses inspected by the Landlord incentive Assistance Program Coordinator.
This position holds a relatively high degree of independence within the framework of the department’s standard operating procedures. The individual must display initiative, creativity, organization, and computer skills.

Associate’s degree in human service. Work or related field.
Three years’ experience in the field of Human Services.
At least two years of experience working with migrant population.
Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Physical Demands: The position does require occasional standing, squatting, and lifting of up to approximately 20 lbs.

Summary:

Essential Functions:
- The Landlord incentive housing Coordinator will support Directors with supervision and participant grievances, as well as handling high-risk/high-demand families.
- The Landlord Incentive Program Coordinator will complete a full initial self-sufficiency assessment to identify immediate needs including medical, housing, education, employment, and others as needed.
- Takes initiative in seeking necessary resources for clients within the community. The Landlord Incentive Program Coordinator will work closely with community agencies, and internal programs to meet the needs of the clients.
- Maintains accurate/updated client files with mandated documentation and as mentioned in policies & procedures, to include accurate data input and data cleanup.
- Monitors progress towards accomplishments of client goals by maintaining in constant contact.
- Ensures accurate data input of services provided on assigned database.
- Prepares statistical and narrative reports as required by director or funders.
- Participates in the development of proposals, program planning and new initiatives.
- Monitors programs to ensure compliance with contract provisions.
- Participates in community activities as assigned.
- Conducts supervision meetings with assigned staff, assists with team meetings, and supports staff development training.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinates hotline coverage and assists as needed.
- Connect with landlords in the community to access safe and affordable housing for the families in need.
- Conduct thorough inspections of houses and apartments before offering them to potential families.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or delegates.
