Role Description: We are the Real Journeymen of Benton, Carroll, Cass, Fulton, Tippecanoe, and White Counties. As an electrician with IBEW Local Union 668, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including electrical installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations. You will collaborate with other trades, customers, and your team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Perform electrical work across diverse settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, making necessary repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate effectively with co-workers, other crafts, and customers to complete jobs efficiently.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, electrical engineering, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and interpreting electrical codes.
• Relevant certification or license as a Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work with precision.
