Required:
- Must work on-site at headquarters in Paul, ID 83347.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Interest in learning PLC and HMI programming.
- Be able to read, understand, and create electrical schematics.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
- Experience with PLC and HMI programming or other programming languages.
- Basic Electrical CAD skills (Solidworks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar).
- Knowledge of AC power concepts, including single and three-phase circuit design.
- Understanding of motor control systems, including variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Familiarity with process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
- Basic understanding of physical process concepts (e.g., flow, temperature, pressure, level, and density).
- Starting Pay: $32/hr – $38/hr.

- Engineer industrial automation and control systems for applications such as food processing factories and automated dairies.
- Program automation controllers (PLCs), touch-screen interfaces (HMIs) and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Create power distribution and motor control designs in compliance with UL508A standards.
- Draft electrical schematics, bills of materials, and signal lists based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
- Specify, install and configure sensors.
- Support and assist electrical equipment assembly, installation and commissioning.
- Communicate effectively with customer staff to troubleshoot issues and coordinate timelines.
- Work with an interdisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical and controls engineers with 30 years combined industrial automation experience.
