In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of tax laws, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Duties
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns for clients, including individuals and corporations.
- Analyze financial information to identify potential deductions and credits.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify any discrepancies.
- Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks and Sage to manage client accounts effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and changes in legislation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Perform data entry tasks with precision, including 10 key typing for efficient processing of information.
- Assist in the development of tax strategies that minimize liabilities while maximizing benefits for clients.
