Our Medical Office Assistants are key members of our patient care team. IBH is a patient-centered, physician-owned company focused on providing behavioral healthcare in Alabama and southern Tennessee. Based in Huntsville, AL, IBH is a thriving independent practice of over 85 healthcare providers covering 7 hospitals, 8 outpatient clinics and 100 nursing homes. Our Medical Office Assistants are responsible for front office tasks in our busy outpatient clinics including:
- support our Montgomery clinic and providers in the areas of medication administration, education and patient traiage
- administers injections per the phsyician's orders; monitors and documents side effects
- assist providers with paperwork for patient assistance programs
- collect sample for Genesight testing
- follow up on issues such as prescription refills, appointment reminders, documentation, etc.
- cross train to assist Front Office Assistants
Our preferred candidates will have:
- High School Diploma or GED; some post-secondary preferred;
- At least 2 years experience in medical office/clinic/hospital;
- Proficiency with EMRs and Microsoft Office products;
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
