What You’ll Do
- Function as a technical expert and manager across the team; planning and leading major technology assignments
- Lead a technology program involving cloud and edge technologies
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps toolsets for a large enterprise
- Develop, test, and maintain containerized applications with a “security first” mindset using Kubernetes and Helm
- Create and maintain documentation for implementations
- Learn new technologies and gain expert-level understanding of the latest approaches (auto-scaled cloud-based systems, serverless architectures, cloud/on-premises hybrid solutions)
- A US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- Advanced understanding of agile and DevSecOps methodologies
- Development experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm is required
- Extensive experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools like Packer, Terraform, and Ansible
- Experience developing cloud architectures
- 3 plus years of hands-on experience with cloud systems and architectures with Amazon Web Services (Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure a plus)
- Development experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
- Experience developing software with Java, Spring framework, JBoss, Python, JavaScript, node.js, Go is desired
- Extensive experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools like Packer, Terraform, and Ansible
- Experience in providing DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools
- Experience with security, including the Risk Management Framework, DISA STIG, etc
- Familiar with microservice architectures (REST, JMS, AMQP)
- Experience with Istio is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
