Your Role And Responsibilities
As an SDR within Digital Sales you'll be IBMs first line of contact for inbound client sales activity. You will also be reaching out to and connecting with new clients through outbound sales activity. Your primary goal will be to qualify leads and convert them into new business opportunities. With a focus on speed to engage, you will leverage your consultative selling skills to accept incoming leads, and connect the dots between clients' needs and IBM's solutions. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team– advising and supporting on new business engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to our award winning cloud solutions.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
Client Engagement: Be IBM's premier point of contact for inbound sales inquiries related to our Data Platform, ensuring swift lead qualification and response time.
Solution Alignment: Understand client business requirements and align them with IBM's tailored data solutions, focusing on new client acquisition.
Lead Conversion: Convert potential leads into sales-qualified leads (SQLs) for further development by IBM sellers and Ecosystem partners.
Digital Proficiency: Use digital tools and social platforms to enhance IBM's brand visibility and foster client relations, including conducting technical demos for select products.
Client Interest Management: Handle both explicit and implicit client interests, researching prospects to identify key stakeholders and customize outreach to peak interest in IBM's solutions.
Sales Execution: Identify new opportunities, manage the transition of client interests to SQLs, and ensure the involvement of the right technical stakeholders.
Growth Management: Keep abreast of IBM's offerings and campaigns, elucidating the unique value of our products, especially in comparison with competitors.
