Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to fill a unique hybrid role that combines Java development and automation testing framework expertise for mission-critical financial systems in the government. As a Java Developer and Automation Test SME, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing. You will support high-quality software, testing suites and you will create and maintain automated tests to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 5 years of experience in Java development and automation testing, with a focus on backend development and expertise in Java-based testing frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8 or later, including Java syntax, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Protractor, Jasmine, and JMeter.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance from the US Federal government.
