Ibn Sina Foundation is hiring full time preferably Spanish Bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner for its clinic located in Greater Houston.
The Family Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for the patients attending Community Clinic in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status).
Major Responsibilities:
- Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients in a Family practice clinic.
- Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
- Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs.
- Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
- Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
- Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
- Educate patients and families on medications, diseases, treatment plans, and procedures.
- Utilize internal and external resources to design, implement, and direct plan of care for patients.
- Other Clinical and relevant services
- Qualifications and experience: Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner, FNP
Minimum one year experiences as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
