What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control position at IBP?
Alpine Insulation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor field installers and crews to ensure adherence to company policies and Grade 1 installation requirements.
- Address and manage repairs, red tags, and warranty requests efficiently.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing technical and communication training to enhance team performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and enforce disciplinary measures as needed.
- Work closely with the Branch Manager to address job-related issues and provide progress updates.
- Maintain warehouse safety, organization, and compliance with company policies.
- Participate in company-sponsored training programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction industry, preferably in quality control or safety compliance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Demands:
The job requires physical endurance, including standing, walking, bending, and climbing for extended periods. Candidates must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds as needed. They should be comfortable working in diverse weather conditions, from extreme heat to cold and inclement weather. The role involves frequent exposure to construction environments with loud noises and airborne particles. Additionally, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is necessary as required.
