We are actively seeking an Associate Attorney with 2 years of experience, especially in Civil Litigation, Family Law, Landlord-Tenant matters, and transactional work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a capacity for independently managing a diverse caseload, showcasing a deep understanding of legal complexities and offering strategic solutions to protect and advance our clients' interests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independently manage and progress a varied caseload, demonstrating a proactive approach to resolving legal issues.
• Draft a comprehensive range of legal documents and correspondence, such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements, based on specific client requirements.
• Engage in direct collaboration with clients to efficiently drive cases towards resolution, maintaining transparency, and fostering informed decision-making.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to identify and address conflicts in legal matters, advising clients on strategic solutions.
• Negotiate effectively on behalf of clients to secure advantageous outcomes.
• Prepare for, attend, and contribute to hearings and other legal proceedings.
• Ensure meticulous organization of case files for easy access by attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• Participate in thorough fact-finding investigations and discovery processes to assemble essential case information.
• Keep clients regularly informed about their case developments and maintain effective communication with courts and opposing counsel.
• Conduct initial client consultations to assess legal needs and devise appropriate strategies.
Qualifications:
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience, with a strong emphasis on Civil Litigation, Family Law, Landlord-Tenant, and transactional matters.
• Demonstrated proficiency in independently managing a substantial caseload.
• Exceptional skills in legal drafting, negotiation, and analysis.
• Outstanding problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, aimed at delivering high-quality client-centric legal services.
• A strong commitment to professional ethics and integrity.
