What are the responsibilities and job description for the Study Plan 3k Teacher position at iBrain Nursery?
iBrain Nursery is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Study Plan Teacher to join our team!
Primary Purpose:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive program focusing on the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child in our care.
- Create and maintain a secure and stimulating environment suitable for children aged 2 to 5.
- Deliver age-appropriate early childhood education classes.
- Offer guidance to parents regarding child development and actively involve them in their child's educational journey.
- Exemplify support and respect for the mission of iBrain Nursery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Possess 3-5 years of experience in an Early Childhood setting.
- Demonstrate warmth, affection, and a positive attitude towards children.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of children and program requirements.
- Respect for individuals from various cultural and economic backgrounds.
- Proficiency in organizing and documenting teaching goals, progress, and assessments.
- Engage children in developmentally appropriate ways, including active participation in play and conversation.
- Fulfill daily responsibilities as an educator effectively.
Qualifications:
Ideal Study Plan candidates include:
- Experienced educators who have not yet obtained their NY State certification.
- Undergraduate or graduate early childhood education students.
- Teachers who are certified in another state but have not yet secured a NY State teaching license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: up to $60,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, following DOE school schedule (holidays, breaks, etc.)
