We are seeking a skilled lab technician with wet bench experience and a passion for molecular chemistry to join a visionary group of scientists focused on testing catalysts and hydrocarbon feedstocks under various pressures and temperatures.
The ideal candidate would have the education and/or experience in laboratory work, such as handling chemicals and operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner as well as the necessary mechanical skills (assembling simple piping and testing equipment).
Operation Excellence (OE) as it relates to lab safety and project deliverables' metrics
Documentation of work processes and results to ensure proper Intellectual Property (IP) tracking and protection

Summary of Project:
This is a contractor position in the Power Core R&D Department of the Molecular Conversions' division serving the innovation team at the Research Technical Center. Your responsibility on the operations team would be to collaborate with research engineers to conduct catalyst and process evaluation and development activities to support Chevron’s refining and hydro processing business.
Daily Activities:

- Handle sample collection, storage and submission for inspections
