Manufacturing Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee our production processes and ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management, with a focus on optimizing production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Duties

• Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Monitor production metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain to streamline processes.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to foster a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies regarding safety and quality.
• Conduct regular audits of production processes to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
• Very hands on position.

Experience

• Proven experience in a manufacturing management role or similar position. 5 plus years' experience managing production staff
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics; experience with manufacturing software systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration across departments.
• Must have bachelor's degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
