What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai?
We are seeking a laboratory technician, to join our lab that is focusing on chronic inflammatory skin diseases and primary cutaneous lymphomas. The work would include processing of skin biopsies and blood samples. Ideally, applicants should have previous experience in RNA extractions, qPCR, bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing and immunohistochemistry. In addition to bench work, the job would also entail helping to manage our research infrastructure, and taking care of sample logistics, and equipment maintenance.
