iCAMP in the Hamptons is looking for a passionate individual for our summer 2025 Camp Director position.
If you are a passionate teacher with managerial experience or an experienced summer camp director, we would love to meet you and tell you more about our summer camp!
In this position you will be responsible for creating a dynamic, engaging experience for our summer campers and staff! This includes fostering a fun and safe environment while helping summer campers learn about new technology and think creatively.
The Camp Director will be responsible for all camp activities and staff. This individual will be accountable for supervising teachers and students, assisting in leading camp games and activities, as well as maintaining a safe atmosphere while on duty.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
General:
- Hours are 7:30am - 3:30pm
- Location: Bridgehampton
Camp dates:
- June 9 - August 29, 2024
Summer Camp Director must commit to all weeks based on location including training sessions beginning virtually at the end of March 2024.
Program Responsibilities
- Lead teachers, staff, and summer campers in meeting personal goals
- Implement summer camp curriculum and schedules
- Actively participate in summer camp activities
- Responsible for administrative duties such as maintaining rosters, keeping records, and managing a budget
- Serve as the main contact between parents and the camp
- Complete all day to day operations

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
At our summer camp, the ideal candidate will be an individual that has 2 years of summer camp management experience or managerial experience in a teaching setting. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate flexibility, energy, positivity, leadership abilities, and strong communication skills. A director should have experience leading a team and be people-oriented. Salaries are competitive and based on experience. Please note that this is a day camp, so housing is not included.
Required
- Bachelor's degree or be at least 21 years old
- 24 weeks (6 months) of summer camp or teaching administrative experience
