Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Representative to join our Frisco team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring efficient registration, front office operations, and timely payment processing. This position is essential in maintaining compliance, supporting management, and fostering a patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Registration: Accurately enter patient demographic information, verify eligibility, and process consent forms.
- Record Management: Scan, archive, and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
- Payment Processing: Operate credit card terminals, log cash receipts, and maintain financial logs.
- Office Support: Perform general duties such as filing, shredding, and data entry.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to HIPAA/HITECH standards and infection control policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work with management and clinical staff on quality assurance and operational efficiency.
- Supply Management: Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies.
- Emergency Support: Be available for extended hours during emergencies or high-demand periods.
Compensation
- Base Pay: $18.50 per hour.
- Shift Differentials:
- $1.00 per hour for weekday night shifts and weekend day shifts.
- $1.50 per hour for weekend night shifts.
Available Shifts
We are currently seeking candidates for Saturday, day or night shift. Shifts are 12-hours, from 6:45 to 7:00. Applicants should also have some flexibility to help with shifts during the week, Monday through Friday.
Position Type
This is a PRN (as needed) position. PRN requirement is to work two 12-hour shifts, or 24-hours, per month.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required (college coursework preferred).
- Licensing/Certification: BLS Certification (Required)
- Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet navigation.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in customer service and administrative support is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and lift/move items up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment
