The Evening IOP Clinical Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the evening IOP program. The Evening IOP Coordinator is responsible for group scheduling, communicating with clients, conducting client intakes and BPS assessments, conducting weekly individual sessions, facilitating groups in the evening program, and case management.
The following are duties and responsibilities that the Evening IOP Coordinator shall provide:
Operational Responsibilities:
- Scheduling of groups and ensuring all groups are covered
- Interviewing potential candidates for open positions
- Communicate with Utilization Review/Billing about authorizations and concurrent reviews.
- Ensuring all clients have access to tele-health services.
- Communicating with clients about attendance issues and sending out reminder emails with Zoom links
- Enforce and maintain or adjust policies to best serve staff and clients
- Work with the Clinical Director in program development and growth
Client Care Responsibilities:
- Provide case management services at frequency determined by client’s level of care
- Oversee the Life Skills progress of each client – legal issues, employment, resume building, peer support involvement, aftercare planning and budgeting.
- Operate as a facility Intake worker. Complete client intake from start to finish as needed.
- Complete client Biopsychosocial Assessments from start to finish
- Complete Concurrent reviews as needed
- See clients weekly for individual sessions
- Properly document all interactions with clients in adherence with company documentation policies
- Develop a strong, professional, ongoing relationship with clients and their families
- Work with outside medical providers to ensure proper scheduling, communication, and medication ordering
- Develop effective aftercare plans for all clients
- Ensure all safe calls and introduction calls are being made upon a client admitting to the program
- Contact referral sources to provide weekly client updates if indicated
- Accurately share information in team meetings
- Manage all documentation needs for the client’s employer, schools or legal
- Facilitate referrals to ancillary services with the support of the clinical outreach team. Ensure the correct documentation is collected and/or received
- Facilitate group sessions that are assigned
- Assist in crisis intervention as needed
- Work towards proficient understanding of health insurance benefits, health insurance terms, and other payment methods that are used for our organization
- Must follow all defined company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Complete all company training within 3 months of hire date
General Responsibilities:
- Be available for facility tours and visits from our stakeholders
- Assist the Management/Executive team if tasks are delegated
- Maintain a basic understanding of health insurance benefits, health insurance terms, and other payment methods that are used for our organization. Act as a resource to clients if they have questions regarding their insurance benefits or coverage
- Be available to work on weekends
