Your Role
As an Associate Attorney, you’ll:
- Support the Senior Attorney: Keep the senior attorney organized by managing deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely follow-ups on critical matters.
- Work Independently: Manage legal and administrative tasks with minimal oversight, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Provide Strategic Advice: Collaborate with company leaders to address legal concerns and provide proactive, actionable solutions.
- Ensure Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to corporate governance and regulatory standards.
- Oversee Litigation: Coordinate with external counsel, organize complex litigation documents, and drive legal processes from start to finish.
- Stay Informed: Independently research case law, statutes, and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant and well-informed.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Accredited Law Degree and licensed to practice law in the region.
- 3-5 years of legal experience, with a proven ability to manage cases and projects independently.
- Strong knowledge of case law, legislation, and employment law relevant to our industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-Savvy: High proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite.
