What are the responsibilities and job description for the Consumer Processing Manager position at ICCU?
Manage the loan processing and funding functions for all loans closed through the consumer lending channel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and develop the consumer loan processing and funding team.
- Supervise quality control for the processing staff.
- Focus on improving team’s service level to team members.
- Hire, onboard, and train new team members.
- Manage productivity and workflow efficiency.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and vendor opportunities.
- Manage special Credit Union projects as necessary.
- Assist in vendor management and relations.
- Troubleshoot service issues and find solutions.
- Provide backup support to the processing team as needed.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business and 2-4 years management or related lending experience. Prior experience in a financial industry related field preferred. Strong oral and communication skills. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records.

High level of professionalism. A demonstrated ability to work well with others. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot

Physical Requirements:
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
- Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Reach keyboards.
- Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
