Job Title: IT Support Specialist

General Function: The IT Support Specialist is the initial point of contact for user inquiries and questions. This position is responsible for supporting the Company’s IT infrastructure, including setup, problem resolution, and maintenance of various IT equipment. The IT Support Specialist will provide hands-on support, prioritize issues, document problem resolutions, and assist in maintaining company IT standards.

- Serve as the frontline response for employees requiring assistance with hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Design, document, and implement technical procedures for hardware and software.
- Configure and maintain computers, servers, mobile devices, network equipment, and other related technology.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the Company’s IT standards.
- Establish, maintain, and monitor system alerts and escalate problems to the appropriate IT personnel.
- Perform software upgrades and update system hardware and software as required.
- Create, maintain, and manage user accounts through Active Directory/Azure.
- Record, track, and document the lifecycle of technical issues – from the initial problem through decisions made, actions taken, and final resolution.
- Assist in maintaining an asset management system and a technical support knowledge base.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned, including projects or assignments to support the organization.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with occasional exposure to a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to bend at the waist and knees, walk and stand for extended periods.
- Must sit and view a computer screen for extended periods.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be flexible and can change schedule and work hours to meet the organization's needs, including weekend on-call support.
- Moderate auto and airline travel is required; including some international travel
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
- Associate Degree in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering; or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
- Thorough understanding of and practical experience with computer hardware (including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals)
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common problems related to operating systems (including Windows, Windows Server, VMWare, and Linux) and desktop software (including MS Office, Remote Desktop, web applications, etc.).
- Working knowledge of networking concepts (including switching, routing, wireless, DHCP, DNS, and SD-WAN) and the ability to troubleshoot common networking problems
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at multiple levels to work cross-organizationally toward solutions.
- The ability to communicate in Spanish is beneficial but not required.
- Strong solution-oriented approach, capability to implement, and persistence in follow-up activities to ensure sustainability and quality
- Ability to self-motivate, problem-solve, and work in a dynamic environment
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

- Epicor/Kinetic or other ERP systems
- Report writing tools, specifically SSRS.
- Ubiquiti/Unifi products
- MDM; iOS and Android
Salary : $50,800 - $64,300
