Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Plant Mechanic and supervisor to oversee our production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining, repairing equipment, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of dedicated employees. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
Duties
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and workflow.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands.
- Lead, mentor, and train plant staff to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain to enhance overall operational performance.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
Qualifications
- Universal refrigeration license preferred
- Proven experience in a manufacturing management role with a strong understanding of production processes.
- Manufacturing/Production equipment repair experience.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- bilingual preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,333.00 per year
