Essential Job Duties:
- Review marketing copy—including, but not limited to alerts, advertisements, press releases, website content, formatted collateral, invitations, procedures, and correspondence—for grammar, spelling, clarity, and style.
- Ensure that content aligns with the firm’s editorial, writing, and brand style guides and standards, including conducting regular quality control checks.
- Collaborate with writers and stakeholders to help improve the overall quality of marketing content and thought leadership.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, humanities, or related field preferred
- At least two years of experience in public relations, communications, copyediting, and/or journalism
- Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, style, and spelling
- Familiarity with foremost accepted style guides (Chicago, AP) with ability to adapt to house style rules
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Advanced PowerPoint and Word skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem solving skills
