What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Intern position at Ice Miller?
Job Summary :
The Intern will primarily work with the Human Resources and Diversity & Inclusion teams and assist with a variety of projects. The Intern will gain knowledge of the legal industry with teams that focus on recruiting, diversity & inclusion initiatives, various Human Resources functions and other operational areas within the Firm. The intern must be capable of maintaining strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position.
The Intern will :
- Network with a diverse group of professionals
- Learn about law firm administration
- Assist with recruiting functions
- Attend meetings and professional development programs with a variety of team members
- Research data for program and process development
- Assist with planning firm events
- Research workplace best practices
- Assist the Human Resources and Diversity & Inclusion teams with additional projects as needed
