JOB SUMMARY:
A Production Food Worker is responsible for providing a supportive role to kitchen staff in the preparation of meals and ingredients.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform routine kitchen tasks.
- Follow the prep list created to plan duties.
- Measure ingredients to be used in preparations.
- Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
- Prepare and assemble simple dishes, such as salads and entrees.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces,
- Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a prep cook
- High School Education preferred, any culinary school experience a plus
- Knowledge of Health and Safety rules in a kitchen
- Must be flexible to work various days and schedules
- Must pass a criminal background check
