POSITION SUMMARY
The Custodial Associate at IceCap Cold Storage ensures the warehouse breakrooms, locker rooms, restrooms, and offices are kept clean and hygienic. The Custodial Associate will use a variety of cleaning products and chemicals and various machines to ensure facility cleanliness.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Always follows standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and safety guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize main office space, breakrooms, and warehouse areas. Adhering to cleaning schedule outlined.
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
- Empty interior and exterior trash receptacles with use of trash compactor
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and locker rooms. Replenish supplies as necessary.
- Clean the warehouse docks by operating a scrubber/sweeper.
- Assist maintenance department with projects as needed.
- Run errands to pick up cleaning, office, and warehouse supplies as needed.
- Laundering freezer gear offsite until permanent onsite laundering facility is completed.
- Assist in Company event set up, tear down, clean up and serving.
- Stock, inventory and maintain supply cabinets, rooms and kitchenette areas.
- Stay aware of any possible hazards.
- Work safely in a cold environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
