Business Development Coordinator - Climate, Energy, Transportation, State and Local Government
Location : U.S Remote
ICF works at the forefront of helping public agencies plan and implement their transportation, climate, and energy programs. We develop transportation solutions that promote sustainable travel and goods movement, improve safety, reduce emissions, and optimize existing systems. We help clients translate decarbonization goals into actionable plans and programs. We assess climate risks and plan for more resilient infrastructure. We provide clean energy solutions through data modeling and analytics, community and stakeholder engagement, and capacity building.
We are seeking a State and Local Government Business Development Coordinator who will focus on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities related to climate, energy, and transportation initiatives at the state and local government levels. Key responsibilities and qualifications for this role include :
Responsibilities :
- Market Analysis : Conduct thorough research to understand state and local climate and
- transportation policies, funding opportunities, and competitive landscape and best fit opportunities for the team.
- Prioritize Opportunities : Identify and help prioritize new business opportunities in climate, energy, and / or transportation-related state and local projects and programs, working with market researchers and subject matter experts.
- Strategy Development : Formulate strategic plans to capture identified opportunities, including defining value propositions and differentiators. Work with subject matter experts and other seller-doers to execute opportunity capture plans.
- Team Coordination : Collaborate with various ICF business units to ensure a cohesive approach to capturing new business. Bring expertise from across ICF to deliver value to clients.
- Requests for proposals. Identify and track requests for proposals and contract qualifications, secure internal leads and roles for proposal responses.
- Pipeline management : Develop and manage pipeline of state and local climate, energy, and transportation sales opportunities in customer relationship management system.
- Stakeholder and Customer Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and teaming partners.
This position may be remote or hybrid, location within the U.S. is flexible.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is :
