We’re searching for our next Technical Writer to support one of our federal clients based in the Fairfax, VA area (with remote flexibility). We are seeking someone who is a detail-oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills to help us create technical and strategic deliverables.
You’ll make a real impact working directly with our clients and other ICF teams to address and solve key issues, drive change, and grow our business. As our next Technical Writer , you’ll support our communications team to deliver technical writing services to our client.

What You'll Be Doing :
- Review and edit software release documentation including software requirements specifications, software design documentation, and requirements traceability matrixes.
- Prepare and edit statement of works for major programs.
- Document program management processes and create presentations for them.
- Assist in consolidating and coordinating cost estimates into a standard template for business cases.
- Assist Technology Acquisition & Program Management and other departments in Engineering in conducting equipment evaluations, reviews and potentially participate in on-site field activities.
- Assist in tracking and deploying production equipment to the Field. Assist in resolving issues related to deployment.
- Provide technical and procedural guidance relating to the development and management of technical documents.
- Prepare and distribute work product documents to end customers.
- Write and update technical specifications for automation equipment procurement.
- Provide input on program management & guidance on documentation support for TAPM related products and modifications.

Pay Range : The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is : $60,927.00 - $103,576.00 Virginia Client Office (VA88).
