Description
Iredell Health System is offering three paid internships for college students who are rising Juniors or rising Seniors for the Fall 2025 semester. These internships will be in the areas of Community Relations, Human Resources and Business. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater. Students must complete an application and submit a letter of interest detailing their interest, what they hope to gain, and an example of how they live one of our values - Collaboration, Compassion, Respect and Integrity.
The internship will be paid at our base hourly rate and will consist of eight to ten weeks within the department. Interns are expected to participate in general duties within the department along with develop a project which the student may then use for college related graded projects.
Interns may be considered continued employment with Iredell Health System through a per diem role at the end of their internship.
Current full-time employees are not eligible for the internship but should contact Human Resources if interested in other roles within Iredell Health System.
Requirements
High school graduate from an accredited institution.
Current college or university enrollment.
3.0 GPA or higher for college enrollment.
Exceptional ability to communicate verbally and written.
Previous office experience to include basic understanding of Microsoft products and general office practices.
Flexibility for hours should the position require.
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
