About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled M365 Intune and DLP Consultant to lead the implementation, management, and optimization of Microsoft Intune and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience configuring, securing, and provisioning devices through Intune while integrating with Azure Active Directory for identity and access management. This role requires a strong understanding of policy enforcement, data protection, and stakeholder communication to ensure a seamless experience for enterprise users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, manage, and secure device provisioning using Microsoft Intune.
- Integrate and manage Intune with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for identity and access management.
- Implement and enforce security policies by integrating on-premises Group Policy Objects (GPO) with Intune.
- Develop and apply policies to detect, classify, and protect sensitive data across Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Information Protection and Governance.
- Implement Microsoft 365 Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies to ensure compliance and data security.
- Provide technology transfer and knowledge enablement through training, documentation, and strategic guidance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define security policies and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Ensure all data handling, storage, and analysis activities comply with U.S. data security standards.
- Document and share best practices, lessons learned, and technical insights with the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience providing IT consulting services, including M365 DLP and Intune implementation.
- Project Expertise: Successfully completed at least three similar M365 DLP and Intune projects within the last two years.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Azure AD, Intune, and Information Protection & Governance.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals; Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate; or equivalent.
- Project Management: Strong project management methodology knowledge; certifications like PMP or Agile/Scrum are a plus.
- Location: Must be physically based in the United States, with all work and data storage occurring within U.S. borders.
- Communication Skills: Strong stakeholder management, documentation, and training abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with government or education sectors.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting for policy enforcement (e.g., PowerShell, Graph API).
- Advanced security controls implementation for Microsoft 365 environments.
