Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Provide accurate wait times and keep guests informed during busy periods.
- Assist with guest inquiries, ensuring high standards of customer service throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering questions about the menu or restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and waiting area.
Skills
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with guests positively.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or similar platforms is preferred but not required.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries professionally.
