ICI Services is an Employee-Owned Company providing Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare, and In-Service Sustainment support to government customers. We are seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support our Navy customer in Washington, DC.
Security Clearance :
Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Position / Job Description : General Tasking Description :
Assist the Program Manager in managing large, multi-year programs.
Manage Large Multi-Year Programs : Assist in managing large, multi-year programs, including the organization and direction of short and long-range plans.
Program Definition and Organization : Support the overall program definition and organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Technical Approach and Guidance : Formulate, guide, and direct the technical approach for sub-programs / tasks.
Resource Negotiation : Define and negotiate with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources to support program execution.
Technical Milestones and Schedules : Establish and control technical milestones and schedules to ensure timely program delivery.
Budget and Cost Control : Manage program budgets and costs to ensure financial accountability and adherence to budget constraints.
Stakeholder Communication : Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on program progress and address any issues.
Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks associated with program execution to ensure successful outcomes.
Experience Requirements :
10 years of professional experience in program / project management.
Experience with DoD / DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process).
Educational & Certification Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in any field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAU Level III certification preferred.
