We have immediate hire openings for Engineering Technician IV (Navy PMS) to support Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning & Procurement (SUBMEPP) for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Dover, NH , who wants to grow with the Company. Security Clearance :
Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance
Responsibilities :
Create or update quality Planned Maintenance System (PMS) documentation according to customer directions, fleet feedback, or other technical requirements. This work involves using resources like operating manuals, technical drawings, equipment specifications, and configuration data.
Review and understand technical submarine documentation, including Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs), Technical Feedback Reports (TFBRs), PMS Service Requests (PSRs), Maintenance Standards, and Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) system drawings.
Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis on new and existing maintenance requirements. This ensures the systems maintain high safety, reliability, environmental compliance, and operational readiness at the most effective cost.
Collaborate with the customer and various organizations, offering in-depth research and data analysis to improve engineering documentation and provide informed technical feedback.
Experience Requirements :
4 years relevant experience operating and maintaining submarine equipment and systems and working with Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and the 3M System.
Other Requirements :
Must be able to work shipboard for ship checks and procedure validations
Qualification as Submarine Warfare Specialist or Submarine Warfare Officer.
Experience as a PQS qualified Maintenance Worker or Work Center Supervisor, Divisional, Departmental, or ships 3-M Coordinator on a naval vessel
Experience in the maintenance and / or operation of submarine combatant systems or hull, mechanical or electrical (HM&E) systems for US Navy submarines
This experience would be accumulated on active duty in the US Navy or in a Naval Shipyard or private shipyard performing maintenance or new construction work
Proficient in the use of Windows PC and Microsoft Office software
