What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Ship Cost Estimator position at ICI Services?
ICI Services is looking for a motivated individual who wants to provide support to a major Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) at the historic Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC . A hybrid and / or remote schedule may be available with government approval. We are an Employee-Owned Company providing Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare, and In-Service Sustainment to government customers. We need a Senior Ship Cost Estimator ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment .
Security Clearance :
Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Responsibilities :
Provide overreaching budget and financial support in all areas of DoD Planning, Programing, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) with particular focus on :
Program planning and analysis
Budget preparation and justification
Funds execution
Contract and cost analysis
Cost estimating
Presenting the above data in various formats.
Develops cost estimating products in support of program budget submissions, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions, sensitivity analyses, or program reviews.
Provides Estimate at Completion (EAC) status updates associated with construction cost contracts, develops Program Life Cycle Cost Estimates (PLCCE), provides validation of Navy and Industry-developed cost reduction initiatives, and collaborates with other Program Offices or team members to perform cost related studies across platforms.

Experience Requirements :
10 years professional experience in the Cost Estimate / Cost Assessment Field.
10 years of DoD / DoN, specifically NAVSEA shipbuilding programs, Cost Estimate / Cost Assessment experience is preferred.
