What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cupcake Frost Crew Member position at Icing on the Cupcake?
Frost Crew Position:
At Icing on the Cupcake, our concept is simple: Bake it fresh, serve it fresh, and smile lots. We bake from scratch, using old-school family recipes. We bake ’em like mom used to, using simple quality ingredients. We have a fun and friendly work environment that is very fast paced!
As a frost crew member our shift starts at 4am Sun-Fri and 3am Sat.. Must be willing to work as part of a fun, hard working team. We frost everything requested for our three stores as well as any special requests. Some background in decorating or baking is preferred but not required. On the job training will be provided. Creativity is a plus when working with cupcakes! As frosters we see a lot of custom decorations and should be able to provide suggestions for customers/retail members. Frost crew members are also required to make frosting and other in house prep. Must be able to lift 50lbs (the weight of our flour/sugar bags)
Duties:
- On time, uniform ready before you clock in
- Preparation of frosting
- Frosting cupcakes and other baked goods
- Preparation of fillings and decorations
- Keep kitchen clean including but not limited to cleaning: dishes, sweeping, mopping, bathroom, break room, tables, walk-in.
- Must have up to date food handlers card
