POSITION OBJECTIVE:
ICM is adding an inhouse Surveyor to their team! The Surveyor will be responsible for providing layouts, verification, and as-built drawings for an Oxford-based project, with additional support for other projects as needed. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy and precision in construction layouts and will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Superintendent and Project Team with layout and verification needs.
- Conduct on-site surveys to ensure accuracy in design implementation.
- Utilize Trimble Robotic systems and CAD for precise measurements.
- Create and maintain as-built drawings for documentation.
- Identify and resolve layout-related discrepancies.
- Support clash detection and model-building efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to improve project efficiency and accuracy.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- 5 years in surveying or layout within vertical construction (preferred)
- Detail-oriented and precise.
- Proficient in Trimble Robotic System and CAD software (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to detect clashes and contribute to model building.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
