Scope:

ICM Controls designs and manufactures electronic controls for the HVAC, electrical, marine, refrigeration and appliance markets. We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join the ICM Controls team. In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to clean, maintain, and analyze large datasets. You will also work with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and implement solutions to support the company’s strategic initiatives.

Key high-level deliverables will include:

Pricing Strategy Maintenance

· Generate regular reports on pricing performance through the analysis of sales data and provide insights into margins, and overall pricing strategy effectiveness.

· Provide support to sales teams on pricing structures, discounting policies, and customer negotiations.

· Implement and track price changes in the company’s ERP system and CRM, ensuring they are applied accurately and in a timely manner.

Tableau Maintenance and Development:

· Work with Data and Analytics Manager to understand business needs and implement recurring reports in our BI tool, Tableau, to meet these needs.

· Monitor tableau data sources that are not directly integrated with our database through exports to excel and connections via Tableau Bridge.

· Develop visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.

· Create and maintain documentation for Tableau data sources, dashboards, and workflows to ensure reproducibility and adherence to best practices.

Data Management:

· Ensure data integrity (accuracy, consistency, and completeness) by following validation rules and the company’s standards.

· Ensure data is up to date

· Implement tools and techniques for data cleansing, data validation, and data enrichment to optimize reporting efficiency.

· Identify opportunities for automation and streamline data management processes.

· Create, update, and modify database fields to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

· Labor Category – Exempt/Permanent

· Expected schedule – Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Work Environment:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment.

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.

Required Qualifications:

· 1-2 years of experience in a data analysis role, with a focus on data cleaning, reporting, and basic statistical analysis.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and interpret complex data.

· Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.

· Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

· Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data manipulation, formulas, and pivot tables.

· Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred, Power BI, etc.).

· Exposure to ERP systems and their integration with data analysis processes.

· Understanding of data architecture.

· Proficient in SQL with the ability to query, update, and manipulate large datasets.
